Sorry I am behind on blogging. Well the day we went to get the girls new hair cuts Jasmine got an adorable hair cut to her shoulders but unfortunately Lizzys hair had a huge knot that couldn't come out because they said that is what can happen when she starts to lose it that it can knot and hers was unable to come out. We decided to just try and fix everything at home because honestly that was one hard day for us as a family because watching our precious Lizzy looking at herself in the mirror to get her hair cut broke our hearts she just stared at herself with a sad face because of how different she is looking and I went and just starting talking to her and put myself in front of the mirror so she didn't just stare at herself because i know it was making her sad and that helped, but i said Liz do you want me to turn you the other way so we can get down and she says yes mom.. But mom I dont like these pieces of my hair which was her missing hair and she said can we go get me a wig now and i said yes of course we can so we all packed up and found her a couple adorable wigs she loved....

That night I sat down with Lizzy with a comb that has those pick ends and I picked her hair to get those knots out because I was going to make those knots come out no matter what and she says mommy can you give me a hair cut so I got most out but had to cut her pony off but was able to have some hair left so we didn't have to shave it yet, to be honest i am not emotionally ready for that, breaks our heart when she says i dont want to lose my hair, or will it come back...

This journey is very sad and hard to watch our precious girl go through but we are taking the days the best we can, she is a very strong girl and i know she will get through this.

just 3 more days of those darn steriods....... and that swelling will start to go away.......

Our baby girl in her new Christmas outfit on her way to the hospital to go get Chemo.. Such a strong girl.. She says to  me today after I got her dressed today, mom I look cute.. I have matching black skirt and black top... and my boots are like cow girl boots.. I said Lizzy yes you do, you look so beautiful and stylish..

Tomorrow she gets a new haircut. Her hair has started to come out and is just turning into knots so tomorrow is the day to get a new stylish hair cut, she is so excited and her sister Jasmine decided to do a shorter cute hair cut with her...

One of our favorite things lately is how much Lizzy LOVES popcorn.. She wants to eat it just about all day long, she smells each piece of popcorn before she eats it :-) It is just to darn cute!

Our Lizzy is doing so much better today, talk a lot being so happy and feeling good.. Her blood sugar has been in the 100's thank goodness :-) if this continues to go like this through tomorrow my family gets to come home tomorrow.......... YAY! Praying Praying Praying

That baby girl is ready to come home and of course so is daddy.. I will keep you all posted on if that baby girl will be home tomorrow :-)

 Today was a special day for our little girl Lizzy. We were asked by the nurses and Channel 2 news if they could come Film Lizzy and we said of course.. She was given an adorable stocking that was donated full of goodies, it was so adorable to watch our girl, as you can see she was all ready to smile.. Such a Happy girl.. She was even on channel 2 news tonight 12/12/12

Today was also my husbands birthday so we went up and celebrated his birthday together as much as we could in a hospital room so we could be together as a family and it was wonderful.

Lizzy has surgery today and also Chemo 12/12/12 and all went well. Her blood sugar has been at a good number for the last couple days, which makes this momma happy.

She is still at the hospital but I am sure hoping to have my family home, sure miss them a lot!

Well today was more of a rough day for me because I go up to see my baby and she really just seemed more tired and didn't want to talk but which I understand why but as her mommy its so hard to see her like this because I just know how much energy my baby used to have and when I took her to the bathroom and she saw outside and says mommy its such a nice day and I said I know baby don't worry you will get to play outside soon. I just feel really emotional today just knowing she has to go through this and doesn't get to be a 4 year girl and be outside playing with her friends she just has to be in that bed. I think positive though and know that blood sugar will go down, I know it!

The other bummer of the day was we were told that she will probably not be able to go home until Friday and earliest is Thursday :-(Thats almost 2 week without my family at home...

My baby girl has yet another surgery tomorrow and also Chemo.. Really pray that all goes well and my baby will be good and not in to much pain. Tomorrow is also my husbands 27th birthday to.. but at least I got that covered so at least he can feel somewhat that its his special day :-)

Tonight as my kids and I were driving home from the mall one of Lizzy's recent favorite songs "Diamonds in the sky" came on and we just jammed out to it.. but gosh were tears coming down my face, just was picturing her singing like she does when she hears it.. really miss my girl.


Sorry for probably sounding so down today but needed to get it out somewhere.

Sorry I am a little behind on blogging, as you know I didn't blog for yesterday so I am now for yesterday. Yesterday Michael came up and we switched places for the whole day :-) I got to spend the whole day with my princess, we colored, ate lunch together etc. Jasmine, Jack & Daddy spent the whole day together and when they came back for the night Jasmine ended up staying, so she got to spend the night with her sister and daddy and I picked her up for school in the am, she loved it!

Lizzy was doing good other then her darn blood sugar level was still 427 and 400 when I left :-( I really hope they can get this under control because my baby doesn't get to come home until they can get it under control for 24 hours. So praying this will get better.

She was SO funny, as you can tell in the picture above she has nice meal in the picture.. haha well the empty plate had 6 sausage's and the other had 2 and guess what, that little princess ate all 8... love her! She make me giggle.

I loved so much when she kept telling me.. mommy I love you.. That just made my  heart so happy.. Love my girl.

 My Lizzy got a nice long foot rub from mommy today too (Lizzy sure loves her massage's) But I guess, who doesn't like a massage?.. :)

The only thing my baby girl had to do today was get a xray on her belly because it started to swell again and she was in a lot of pain until the Medicine kicked in, but the results came back just fine and nothing looked abnormal which is good. But everyday I Just wish that I could take that pain away and everything she has to go through because this just isn't fair.. but I do know my baby is so strong and she will get through all of this.
