December 8th 2012

Today I went up to be with our girl. Mike & I basically switched places for the day. I went up to the hospital to be with our baby girl and he came home to be with our other daughter and son for the day. Today was the first day Michael has been home in 6 days. 

Lizzy & I had a wonderful day having just a girl day together. We colored, ate lunch together and just had a good time talking.
 
She seemed to be doing good today but some of her levels were off. She had to have another blood transfusion today and because she is taking steroids twice daily for this month it has made her have diabetes, so she had to have an insulin shot (She did great with that shot and didn't even get scared) She is such a brave girl. They told us that should hopefully go away after this month.

She also had her Chemo treatment today, but seems like everything went well because she didn't get sick from it, thank goodness.

We're praying Lizzy's levels all go to as normal as possible so she gets to come home Monday. 

She was supposed to come home today (Saturday) but Thursday night wasn't good at all so they decided to keep her a couple more days to watch her which is good because I would rather know everything is okay before coming home so we don't have to go back right after we get home.
